A modern izakaya in tst that showcases quality skewers along with sake selection. Had the Niida Jinenshu which had intense rice fragrance with umami and sweetnessThe Minced Chicken was one of our faves, nice amount of cartilage blended in to give a distinct texture. Definitely recommend the Lychee Pork Roll - who knew meatiness of pork would go so well with the refreshing sweetness of lychee

It was quite a pleasant dinner with my mother to celebrate Mother’s Day, I reserve this restaurant on Openrice with a certain percent of discount and free snack. I ordered many skewers, the beef tongue was impressive, and in general, the skewers tasted quite nice. They cook upon order, so the food was freshly cooked.

Sakeh dinner!! Its lots of nice skewers for dinner!! The vibe is chill and very japanese like! we ordered their specialty which are the skewers! Our orders are as follows: First we ordered their specialty sake which is Zaku Impression Junmai! its smooth and really makes us chill throughout the night! Chicken shoulder This is the dish of the night!! Its not a normal chicken shoulder, definitely a must try in this resto! its so tender juicy, and have that unique taste that is definitely so tasty! it has that umami taste that makes you want to order more! Chicken cartilage Another underrated dish of the night! definitely not a normal chicken cartilage and it’s surprisingly easy to eat and has the balance of saltiness in the dish! Chicken skin The chicken skin is very crispy and has a good but not too strong chicken smell, and it tasted well to eat without the sauce or with the sauce from SAKEH resto! Chicken thigh The chicken thigh is surprisingly so tender and umami flavour, eventhough its thick it has a lot of flavour and definitely not dry! Chicken heel The chicken heel is quite crunchy, just like the cartilage. Tasted well, especially with the sauce from Sakeh! Minced chicken with egg The minced chicken is soft and it compliments really well when you mixed it with the egg, making it like a sauce, have that eggy and really nice savoury flavour to it! Lobster One of the best dish of the night too! The lobster is really freshh and it is being seasoned eith the lobster paste itself! definitely one of the must try here! Pork belly The pork belly is surprisingly juicy but doesnt feel too fatty! it has that good balance of fat and meat on top of it, one of the best pork belly i have tried! Prawn wrapped in chicken skin This is a unique combo! as you can taste both prawn and chicken skin together, and it makes for an interesting and good combo! you got the freshness of the shrimp added with the good smell and taste of chicken! Beef tongue centre cut Another one of the gem! Never tried a beef tongue so tender! its not chewy and its very soft, one of my favorite dish of the night too! A5 Wagyu beef dish This goes without saying but the beef melts in your mouth, and it has that amazing A5 wagyu beef umami flavour !! Clam The clam is fresh and taste like ocean! definitely a good seafood product here! Abalone The abalone is not chewy at all, and its already so good without any seasoning on itt! Grilled Cod The skin is crispy while the inside is so tender and soft, along with the sauce given, give you a very nice grilled fish that is just perfect, not too sweet not too salty, just in that sweet spot!

Slightly on the salty side but overall service and quality of food is very good their lychee pork skewer, minced chicken with soft bone and chicken skin is a must order. It is a bit of a hike to get there but it’s worth it.

Rewarded myself after work today by going out for a good meal! It did not disappoint at all. The entire dining experience was very pleasant. First, I have to praise the staff for their excellent service. They quickly cleared our plates after we finished eating and even replaced plates with sauce on them to ensure the flavors didn't mix, keeping everything clean. Now, about the food: 1. Two oysters: Complimentary with a reservation on OpenRice. The oysters were large and creamy, paired with a bit of crab roe and a tangy sauce. Delicious! 2. Grilled beef abomasum: One of the cow's stomachs, similar in taste to tripe but chewier. Unique texture. 3. Sendai miso beef tendon: Very tender and flavorful, served with konjac. The portion was generous, with a slight herbal taste. Preferences may vary. 4. Mirin-dried fish: One of my favorites and a must-order. Sweet and paired with salad dressing, the flavors complement each other well. 5. Lychee pork rolls: Recommended. The sweet and sour lychee cuts through the greasiness of the pork slices, making it fresh and tasty. 6. Chicken neck meat: As usual, I love the smooth texture of chicken neck meat. 7. Chicken thigh meat: Two thick pieces, served with lemon juice. Great texture for those who enjoy meaty bites. 8. Foie gras: Highly recommended! Large pieces of foie gras, usually served as one slice but here as three, much larger than a slice of bread. Perfectly cooked and very satisfying! 9. Beef tongue: My favorite. Grilled to perfection with a strong beef flavor and very tender. Truly a treat for beef tongue lovers. 10. White eel: High in fat, rich, and fresh. A must-order. 11. Premium Australian lobster: Firm and bouncy texture, with lobster sauce enhancing the freshness. Recommended. Drinks: Pineapple soda: my friend’s order and I tried, nice. Sake: lots of choices and also we could choose our own cup, interesting. Sake paired with skewers is a perfect match, and the sake is very smooth and easy to drink. However, note that some skewers require a minimum order of two. If you're not dining with many people, keep this in mind.

Superb food quality and great service. It offers plenty of interesting skewers, such as the amazing (and huge!) foie gras and the large pork intestines. Tried and true dishes are nicely done with a tasteful twist, like the New Zealand lamb chop and the added Uni in the Kourayaki. Special shout-out to the waitress who cooked my Kourayaki! She noticed a small hole at the bottom of the crab shell, decided to just give me a whole new one, AND gave me the contents of the shell she replaced! She basically hooked me up with a generous double portion just for a small hole in the crab shell.
